NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark., April 21, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Jason International, Inc. today announced the launch of MicroSilk™, an innovative new form of hydrotherapy, which company executives expect to redefine luxury-class bathing systems.

MicroSilk creates a unique therapeutic experience for body, mind and spirit through a patent-pending process that generates billions of oxygen-rich, nearly microscopic-sized bubbles. The bubbles deliver the benefits of traditional forms of hydrotherapy more efficiently and effectively and provide significant additional benefits as well.

The tiny size of MicroSilk bubbles – less than 50 micros – is unique in the industry and a source of competitive advantage for Jason International. MicroSilk bubbles are so small they can penetrate skin and pores and provide for a gentle, deep cleansing without soaps.

"A MicroSilk bath is like a facial for the entire body, rejuvenating skin and leaving it silky and younger-looking," said Jason International President Remo Jacuzzi. "Our process produces negatively charged ions. These anions neutralize free radicals that cause cells to age."

Jason International plans to demonstrate MicroSilk at its booth (C7118) at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) April 26-28 in Las Vegas.

The new technology is the latest result of the Jacuzzi family's ongoing commitment to research and engineering and their sustained dedication to innovation since before Jason International was founded in 1982.

MicroSilk is available in a variety of bath designs and may be combined with other types of Jason International's hydrotherapy bath products.  Full-sized demonstration units are going out to Jason Showrooms in cities around the country.

"For customers who are dedicated to their health and wellness, we are pleased to offer MicroSilk as a wonderful addition to our complete line of hydrotherapy baths," Jacuzzi said.

The oxygen-packed micro bubbles make MicroSilk a unique bathing experience.  The tiny bubbles contribute to an enhanced sauna effect and promote more even heating during the bath. As they collapse, the bubbles release their stored heat energy well below the surface of the water and help maintain a consistent warm bathing temperature without an added water heater or the need to add more hot water.

Jason International, Inc. is a manufacturer of luxury hydrotherapy products. Founded in 1982 by Remo Jacuzzi and his immediate family (Jason is an acronym for Jacuzzi-Son), Jason today produces a complete line of Luxury-Class hydrotherapy baths that incorporate Jason proprietary Quiet Design™ engineering and Sani-Design™ technology.
