LEVITTOWN, Pa., April 28, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- StoneMor Partners L.P. (Nasdaq:STON) announced today that it has entered into letters of intent to acquire nine cemeteries and ten funeral homes for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $10.5 million. During 2010, on an aggregate basis, it was reported that the cemeteries had approximately 1,530 interments, the funeral homes had approximately 1,300 calls (i.e. the number of funeral services performed). The letters of intent are not binding, are subject to various conditions to the closings, and there can be no assurance that the closings will occur.
