UniTek Global Services Awarded $37 Million Wireless Communications Contract for the World Trade Center Transportation Hub

("UniTek" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:UNTK) a premier provider of permanently outsourced infrastructure services to the wireless and wireline telecommunications, broadband cable, satellite television industries and turnkey wireless systems integration, today announced that its Pinnacle Wireless division has been awarded a wireless systems integration contract for work related to the World Trade Center Transportation Hub in New York. The contract has an estimated value of $37 million. Work will begin in the second quarter, and is expected to run through June 2014.

Pinnacle was awarded this contract by Five Star Electric Corporation, which was named the prime contractor for the project. The systems integration component for which Pinnacle has been selected represents more than half of the total value of this project. This contract represents Pinnacle's 6th project at the World Trade Center site since 2005. In addition to the Transportation Hub, Pinnacle and Five Star have been awarded similar contracts for the National September 11th Museum & Memorial, World Trade Center Pavilion, World Trade Center Central Chiller Plant and World Trade Center Building 7.
