ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 10, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NaturalNano, Inc. (OTCBB:NNAN) (Frankfurt:N3N) announced today that it has agreed to supply its proprietary Halloysite Natural Tubes (HNT) to Fiabila S.A. for use in nail polish products in European markets. This expands a current arrangement that enabled Fiabila to introduce the HNT containing products in the USA in 2010.

NaturalNano's Acting CEO & President James Wemett said, "NaturalNano is very pleased to have received our largest commercial order ever of HNT from Fiabila. We are very gratified that after the positive results achieved for the nail polish products in the USA, Fiabila has decided they will introduce a similar range of nail polish products for their European customers. We believe they will be as successful in Europe as in the USA where their products containing our HNT component are sold in the country's largest retailers like Target, Wal-Mart, CVS and Walgreen's. We regard this new initiative from Fiabila as evidence of the value proposition our product offers and the opportunity for continued growth of our on-going commercial relationship with them."

Fiabila is a global leader in the manufacturing of private label nail polish products in the USA and Europe. A number of the Fiabila nail polish products sold in the USA currently incorporate HNT in their formulations. Fiabila plans to introduce similar product offerings in Europe. NaturalNano's HNT are environmentally friendly, natural components for a range of cosmetic products. Fiabila CEO Pierre Miasnik said in an announcement: "This Company (Fiabila) enjoyed very strong growth in 2010 and I expect even stronger growth in 2011 and we are expanding our operations worldwide to meet that demand. We, of course, invested in new equipment for mixing and tinting, the goal being to double the number of batches produced."
