Boston Medical Group History

For over fifteen years, Boston Medical Group (BMG) has operated in the United States a network of clinics run by independent physicians that treat Erectile Dysfunction (ED) and Premature Ejaculation (PE). BMG has treated hundreds of thousands of men during the past decade using "The Boston Method", a culmination of 15 years of experience developing the proprietary, personalized treatment process for ED and PE.

The "Boston Method"®

The Boston Method ® was developed utilizing fifteen years experience into treating sexual dysfunction. The Boston Method ® emphasizes three important factors: a private, confidential experience in the medical center, the evaluation of each patient's medical history, physical and diagnostic testing, and the determination of the most appropriate personalized treatment options specifically for each individual patient

Expanded Service Platform

Men's Medical Corporation is planning an expanded service platform creating new revenue channels to increase sales and profits in their BMG clinics.

Market Highlights

The U.S. market for men's sexual dysfunction therapies is expected to reach an estimated $2 billion by the end of 2011 and grow at 10% per year. 16% of all men aged 20-75 and 60% of men age 50-60 experience erection difficulties. 20% of all men suffer from premature ejaculation. The Massachusetts Male Aging Study has confirmed that 52% of the U.S. male population between the ages of forty and seventy suffers from some degree of impotence, with 10% of men suffering complete impotence.

Untapped Sexual Dysfunction Market

Dustin Moore ("Seeking Alpha" 2/23/11) wrote, "A monumental change is beginning to take shape across America. Starting this year, the first of the baby boomer generation will retire. The boomers, all 77 million of them, lived through great social change and numerous wars, but their biggest battle may be their health.

"One healthcare niche that is flying under the radar, but will greatly benefit from this development, is sexual dysfunction. Due to the "sensitivity" of the issue, sexual dysfunction is typically not a subject printed on the front page of the Sunday newspaper or a matter discussed at the work water cooler.  But it is a hot topic at investment banking and hedge fund companies worldwide. That is because the sector represents one of the largest untapped growth markets in the biotech industry."
