BELLEVUE, Wash., May 13, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Motricity (Nasdaq:MOTR) today announced it has named Chuck Scullion as the Chief Strategy and Administrative Officer. In his role, Mr. Scullion will lead the company's Strategy, Corporate Development, Human Resources, Procurement, Integration & Acquisition Planning and Facilities Operations.

Mr. Scullion comes to Motricity from the Boston Consulting Group where he was a Partner and Managing Director in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice area.  In addition, he was part of the firm's Americas Leadership team, and also responsible for BCG's North and South America Organization Practice. Throughout his 13 year career at the Boston Consulting Group, Chuck advised numerous clients on business strategy, go-to-market initiatives, operational improvements and post-merger integrations. Prior to the Boston Consulting Group, Chuck was in leadership with Procter & Gamble and is a graduate from Harvard Business School.
