LOS ANGELES, May 17, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A private investor and former shareholder of Writers' Group Film Corp., Inc. ("Writers Group") (Pink Sheets:WRIT), has filed a civil action for Fraud, Negligent Misrepresentation, violation of California Corporations Code Section 25400, and violations of the California Business and Professions Codes 17200 (Unfair Business Practices) and 17500 (False Advertising) against the Company, its wholly owned subsidiary Front Row Networks, Inc ("Front Row"), and its officers, namely, Tal Kapelner, Ariella Kapelner and John Diaz. The Complaint was filed by George Sharp in the Los Angeles County Division of California Superior Court (Case No. BC461550) on May 16, 2011.

In his complaint, Mr. Sharp states that the Defendants deliberately deceived him by issuing false and misleading press releases for the singular purpose of selling insider-owned stock into the marketplace. Mr. Sharp refers to a January 25, 2011 1 for 1000 reverse split that effectively eliminated the now former shareholders and a conversion of convertible notes into common stock that make up almost 100% of the current float. Mr. Sharp then alleges that the insiders conspired to profit from their holdings by issuing false and misleading press releases and retaining the services of several stock promoters in order to create a marketplace for their stock.
