What:

Harleysville Group Inc. (HGIC), a leading super-regional provider of insurance products and services for small and mid-sized businesses, as well as for individuals, will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City's Times Square to ring the closing bell.  

Michael Browne, Harleysville Group's president and CEO, will ring the closing bell in recognition of the company's 25th anniversary of "going public." Harleysville Group issued its initial public offering on May 23, 1986, and has been a member of NASDAQ ever since. Harleysville Group is currently listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market—a designation placing the company among the top third of all NASDAQ member companies.
