UK measles outbreak could spread

  A dramatic call to get all teenagers in Wales vaccinated against measles as an epidemic sweeps the region where thousands of children haven’t been vaccinated. ITV’s Emily Morgan reports

Measles infections on the rise in US

  Just over a decade ago, U.S. health officials believed measles would be eradicated, but according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control, infections are back and the numbers are growing. Dr. Nancy Snyderman, NBC’s chief medical editor, reports.

Measles outbreaks on the rise

  In a Thursday report from the Centers for Disease control, the number of measles cases has grown from an average of 60 cases a year to 222 cases in 2011. NBC’s Dr. Nancy Snyderman reports.
