Two Republicans who are weighing presidential runs are dining together in Texas.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry and his wife, Anita, were hosting former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman and his wife, Mary Kaye, Tuesday night in the state capital of Austin.
Huntsman is seen as a likely candidate for the GOP presidential nomination. Perry says he'll consider seeking the nomination too after the Legislature finishes its work.
Perry spokesman Mark Miner described the meeting as "a private dinner," adding that "they served together as governors and have become friends over the years."
