IRVINE, Calif., June 1, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sharewell Capital Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:SHCG) ("Sharewell") today unveiled www.sharewellcapital.com, a website with a modern, sophisticated design, which presents Sharewell's investment strategy and business plan objectives. To create the site, Sharewell teamed up with Traina Design, an innovative design firm based in San Diego.

The website provides transparent access to Sharewell's press releases, regulatory filings, and direct contact information. The website also outlines Sharewell's targeted investment criteria for companies that share the following common themes: (a) significantly undervalued, (b) substantial organic growth and margin expansion potential, (c) constrained business plan due to under-capitalization, (d) synergistic and accretive with other portfolio companies, and (e) offers a substantial ROE opportunity.

Sharewell is currently looking at several acquisition opportunities within financial services, commercial real estate, energy, specialty finance, sports management, hospitality and health care. Deliberate and extensive due diligence is a significant part of Sharewell's investment process. As a result, Sharewell recently decided to terminate the letter of intent with an insurance agency that was previously announced in the Company's news release dated April 4, 2011. Sharewell also terminated its acquisition and further negotiations regarding blocks of private loans, which were previously announced in a press release dated March 22, 2011.

Commenting on these terminations, Steve Robertson, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Sharewell Capital Group, stated: "Through the diligence and integration process for these strategic investments, several impediments came to light that we felt would quickly become significant hurdles and threats to the pursuit of our business plan and current focus of maximizing shareholder equity. These impediments clearly made it evident that these opportunities were not in the best interest of our shareholders. However, we are now better positioned to pursue other acquisition prospects with stronger potential for strategic fit within our business plan."

Sharewell Capital Group, Inc. is a publicly-traded holding company focused on making strategic acquisitions in undervalued companies and assets with significant growth potential. Sharewell intends to raise and invest significant permanent capital with a "duration agnostic" time horizon in order to maximize shareholder equity, liquidity and transparency. Sharewell is publicly-traded under the symbol SHCG.
