(Nasdaq:QLGC) today announced that its 8200 Series 10GbE converged networking adapters (CNAs) are now available from Hitachi Data Systems (HDS). QLogic's third generation (3GCNA) adapters are fully qualified for 10Gb iSCSI and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) environments and are interoperable with the comprehensive HDS portfolio of storage systems, including the midrange Hitachi Adaptable Modular Storage (AMS) 2000 family and Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) enterprise system. Paired with the 10Gb iSCSI capabilities of Hitachi AMS arrays, QLogic 8200 Series adapters enable HDS to provide customers with end-to-end 10Gb iSCSI storage networks.
