CHICAGO, June 13, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Steelcase Inc. (NYSE:SCS), a global office environments manufacturer, today announced that the Steelcase family of brands won four Best of NeoCon Awards, including three Gold and one Silver. Products recognized with a Best of NeoCon award include selections from Benching, Office Accessories and Occasional Tables. All products are currently on display at NeoCon 2011, the World's Trade Fair for Interior Design and Facilities Management.

Sponsored by Contract magazine, the Best of NeoCon awards recognize the top new products introduced at the show.

Turnstone, a division of Steelcase, won a Gold award for Bivi, a unique benching system that helps workers connect to work and life targeted at small and emerging companies. The first-of-its-kind product contains an integrated Rumble Seat and Hoodie and arches that support canopies, mountain bikes and snowboards. Bivi is designed to be the most reconfigurable, most adaptable and most affordable system of its kind all with the Steelcase promise of quality.

The second Gold award went to SOTO II Worktools from Details, a division of Steelcase. SOTO II is a collection of organization and productivity tools and won in the Office Accessories Category. The products were designed to enhance the experience of mobile workers, be multi-functional, and optimize space, boundaries and storage.

Sebastopol by Coalesse, Steelcase's premium life/work furnishings division, won the third Gold award for Steelcase in the Occasional Tables category. A unique and geometric series of occasional tables, Sebastopol transforms to accommodate a variety of settings, from a lounge setting to an impromptu meeting space.

The Silver award went to CG_1, a table collection by Coalesse that integrates in lounges, lobbies, informal meeting rooms, and enclaves, in the Occasional Tables category.
