NEW ORLEANS, June 15, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The 2011 Louisiana Energy Conference will be held in New Orleans at the W New Orleans Hotel at 333 Poydras Street on Wednesday and Thursday, June 22 and 23, 2011.
The Conference will consist of a series of 16 panels of executives from major oil companies, public and private exploration and production companies, and oil field service companies who will discuss key domestic and international industry developments and issues. Representatives from energy-related industry trade groups, regulatory agencies, investment banks, insurance and law firms will also participate on panels focusing on the impact of new policies established post-Macondo. Confirmed attendees will be offered the opportunity to register for one-on-one meetings with companies participating on the various panels. Participating company executives will also host dinners and tables at meals during the Conference. Over 33 exploration and production companies and oil field service firms are currently confirmed as participants with additional invitations pending.
Attendance at the Conference is directed to investment professionals including buy side and sell side analysts and portfolio managers, as well as private wealth management and trust officers. There is no cost for investment professionals attending the Conference.
