Adobe rolled out critical security updates yesterday (June 14) for several of its popular programs, including Flash Player, Reader and Acrobat.
The 13 updates for Reader and Acrobat address vulnerabilities that an attacker could exploit on both Windows and Mac systems to remotely crash or gain access to a user's computer.
Adobe customers are urged to update to Adobe Reader X version 10.0.3 and Adobe Acrobat X 10.1, which includes the sandbox security feature that isolates bugs from spreading and infecting a user's entire system.

Adobe recommends users of its popular Flash Player software update to version 10.3.181.26 to fix a critical memory corruption vulnerability that is currently being exploited on Windows and Mac machines, as well as on Android smartphones.
Adobe wrote on its website that the Android Flash update should be available this week. (Just last week, attackers exploited a Flash flaw to trick Android users into clicking malicious links embedded in emails.)
Adobe also rolled out updates to fix vulnerabilities in ColdFusion, Shockwave, LiveCycle and BlazeDS.
All of the updates can be found on Adobe's website. Adobe's next quarterly update is scheduled for Sept. 13.
