CHARLESTON, S.C., June 22, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Revolutions Medical Corporation ("Revolutions Medical" or the "Company") (OTCQB:RMCP) will be an exhibitor at the 2011 Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Industry Conference from June 27 - 30th in Columbus, Ohio. The 2011 DLA Industry Conference will feature speakers and panelists from the Department of Defense, military services, DLA and other government agencies and industries.

"DLA is our military's supply chain authority, processing over 116,000 requisitions and nearly 10,000 contract actions daily," stated Ron Wheet, Chief Executive Officer of Revolutions Medical. "The theme of this year's conference is 'Sustaining Warfighter Support While Reducing Cost,' which directly mirrors RevVac's core capabilities.  We are keenly focused on demonstrating value to DLA's Medical/Surgical Commodity Business Unit."

"Now that we are teamed with Revolutions Medical Corporation, one of our initial sales targets is the $4.5B annual spend on medical material within the DLA," stated Elvis Oxley, President of Oxley Consulting, LLC of Washington, DC. He added, "Exhibiting at DLA's annual procurement conference and introducing the RevVac Auto Retractable Safety Syringe to DLA's key procurement personnel are essential first steps to gain market share within the Department of Defense."

The host of the conference is Vice Admiral Alan Thompson, Director of the Defense Logistics Agency. Last year's conference was attended by over 3,000 people and included more than 230 exhibits.
