Please note: Feb. 17, 2013 is the last day to apply for a summer internship with Rock Center.

If you wish to apply for internships with other NBC shows, please go to the NBC.com site for more information.

To be eligible for this paid internship:

You should be at least a current standing sophomore in college/university receiving academic credit. You should also be able to work a minimum of two days during the school year and five days during the summer to get the maximum benefit from this internship.

Hours are generally 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This internship offers students a firsthand look at how a major news magazine program is produced. You will be exposed to both the editorial side of the program as well as the production side or day-of-air, though depending on your assignment you will focus on one area more than the other.

Some of the intern daily responsibilities include logging tapes, dubbing tapes, preliminary research on assigned topics, working closely with producers, aiding the production team in the control room and edit room as well as some clerical work i.e., phones, mail, etc. when needed.

If you are interested in being a Rock Center intern send a cover letter and resume to:
