  Former race car driver Alex Zanardi lost his legs in a 2001 crash but he never lost his love of competition. He took up handcycling and won three medals in the 2012 Paralympics. Zanardi discusses starting over and discovering a new passion. NBC’s Jamieson Lesko reports.

  Born without legs, but not Olympic ambition

Kate Middleton handed out medals Sunday at the Paralympics, as American sprinter Blake Leeper, who was born without legs, takes home the bronze. NBC’s Miguel Almaguer reports.
