Social: A look at the candidates through social media
The left panel shows how many posts that expressed a clear intention to vote for a candidate or urged others to vote for that candidate the previous day. The middle panel breaks down whether the opinions were positive or negative and shows the issue that was the biggest topic in each category. The right panel shows the total volume of posts for each candidate over the last three months, and what percentage of those posts came from Facebook versus Twitter.
Numbers may not add to 100 percent because of rounding. The margin of sampling error is reported at plus or minus 3 percentage points.
