HONG KONG (Reuters) - China Southern Airlines Co Ltd <1055.HK> <600029.SS> , the country's largest carrier by fleet size, has agreed to buy 10 Airbus A330-300 aircraft worth a catalogue price of $1.9 billion.

The acquisition would be funded partly by internal resources and partly through loans from commercial banks, it said in a statement on Wednesday.

"According to the information provided by Airbus S.A.S, the catalogue price of one Airbus A330-300 aircraft is $188 million. Such catalogue price includes price for airframe and engine," China Southern said in a filing on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
