LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A body was found in a burned-out cabin in the mountains above Los Angeles on Tuesday following a standoff and gun battle there between police and a gunman believed to be a former Los Angeles police officer, CBS News and the Los Angeles Times reported.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesman could not immediately confirm the reports.
