You could chalk it up to a busy schedule, but your partner is unlikely to accept any excuses for missing Valentine's Day. Could bad-boy Charlie Sheen save your day?

Celebcalls, a website that offers phone calls from celebrities, has enlisted Sheen, the controversial former star of TV's "Two and a Half Men," for special Valentine's Day messages.

Here's how it works:

Choose your celebrity. Along with Sheen, you can pick from athletes, coaches, rap singers, models and more. (The most popular celebrity is  Snoop Dogg .)

Fill in the Mad-Libs style message. You'll start by choosing your recipient's name, but don't worry if it's not on the list. Celebcalls offers backup nicknames such as sweetie, gorgeous and sexy that could do the trick. You'll also add a hobby and the state where  your valentine  lives to personalize the message.

Add both your phone number and the recipient's number.

Schedule the call and submit your payment for $3.99.

Hopefully, you're off the hook, but at least you won't get the silent treatment. Celebcalls offers its service throughout the year for about every holiday imaginable, along with "just because."
