The Republican Party has chosen "Fulfilling America's Promise by Building a Safer World and a More Hopeful America" as the overall theme of its 2004 national convention, which will take place Aug. 30-Sept. 2 in New York. MSNBC Cable will carry the convention live for eight hours each day, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. ET. Each day also has its own theme. Here's a day-by-day look at the agenda for the evening sessions:
