Video: Stricter laws for sex offenders

In the span of a month, two girls have been kidnapped and brutally murdered by registered sex offenders in Florida.  There are over 500,000 registed sex offenders in the U.S.  But over 100,000 roam free all over America, with police unaware of their whereabouts.  In California alone, over 30,000 are missing.

Why aren't we keeping closer tabs on predators in America?  Plus, why are lawmakers so slow to act?

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough is on a mission to stop predators by forming stricter laws to protect our children.  Joe is on his way to Washington, D.C. with all of your e-mails in response to this topic.  He's making it a goal to do what the politicians aren't.

Scarborough Country will keep you updated on the campaign.  In the meantime, E-mail Joe at JScarborough@msnbc.com.  Stay tuned to Scarborough Country weeknights at 10 p.m. ET for all of the latest news that affects your coomunity.
