About a week ago we brought you a story from Florida about a controversial self protection bill on the floor there.  Dubbed the "Kill Bill" in the media, it would allow people who felt threatened to shoot any aggressor without recourse.  It was a heated and interesting debate on the show, and so we're going to revisit today.

Gun owners and advocates hope to take the bill to the national level.  Would you want the right to shoot to kill if you were in danger?  What if someone felt threatened by you?  It is a provocative topic.

Later in the hour, more on the House Ethics reform proposals.  Today Dennis Hastert said that Republican lawmakers were close on a deal to repeal the changes put in place last year.  Will that open a can of worms, causing trouble for both sides of the aisle?

Since 9/11 there have thankfully been no major attacks on Americans here at home.  But the number of terrorist related incidents abroad has risen dramatically, and critics are now questioning the State Department's reporting of these events.  Or rather, the not reporting of the events.

Today a look at the rise in attacks overseas and how it factors into the War on Terror.  We'll be joined by Larry Johnson, a former counterterrorism advisor to the State Department, as well as Danielle Pletka from AEI.

As the NFL steroid hearings get underway on the Hill, we'll also take a look at professional athletes today.  They are paid exorbitant amounts of money because they are so talented.  But are they so talented because they use illegal substances, and shouldn't that change the bottom line?  We'll discuss.

And later, for those of us who care (and that's quite a few of us), the American Idol scandal is widening.  ABC is putting together an expose on the popular show.  A blogger from Jossip.com will join us to talk us through the rumor mill on the Internet.  Paula's alleged flings, bickering among judges, ooh...so good.
