Every year, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals conducts an online vote for World’s Sexiest Vegetarian, and this year, the 22-year-old Oklahoman is in the lead, beating out including Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Avril Lavigne.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, who is married to Paltrow, is the frontrunner among sexiest veggie guys. His closest competitors are “Batman” star Christian Bale, Morrissey, Samuel L. Jackson, and Tobey Maguire. The online poll — at peta.org — continues throughout June and the winners will be announced in July.

“Carrie is known to rescue stray animals and wore a ‘V is for Vegetarian’ T-shirt on the show last month, sending her popularity soaring among animal lovers everywhere,” reports a PETA insider. “I wouldn’t be surprised if Carrie wins. Her fans are ravenous!”

The National Enquirer has an unlikely ally in its battle with Cameron Diaz: Donald Trump.

The reality-show mogul has blasted the "Charlie’s Angels" star over her battle with the tabloid. Diaz has threatened to sue the Enquirer for claiming she’s fooling around on main squeeze Justin Timberlake, and for running a photo which it claims is Diaz in an amorous embrace with the other man.

“Now I happen to know something about the Enquirer and I also know the man who runs it, owns it and everything else,” Trump opines online. “His name is David Pecker. He’s a winner. He’s a legitimate guy. He’s smart as can be. And I have a feeling that when they print something, it’s right on the button. And, Cameron, one last word of advice. You may just want to avoid hugging strange men in the bushes. Because you know what? David Pecker and the National Enquirer will get you every time.”
