Three adults and an infant were found shot to death Wednesday night in an apartment, police said.
Two women, a man and the infant appeared to have been shot several times with a 12-gauge shotgun, Belleville Police Chief Terry Delaney said.
No arrests had been made late Wednesday and the identities of the four had not been released. Police believed at least one of the victims lived in the apartment.
The baby, who was found in an infant seat, appeared to be less than 6 months old, Delaney said. The coroner could not determine the gender of the infant.
