Tests show a 43-year-old man thought to have been possibly infected with H5N1 actually has another type of flu, French authorities say.
The man, who fell ill after a weeklong trip to Thailand, is being treated with anti-viral drugs and doctors say his condition is "satisfactory."
Test results are expected Friday for two other people suspected of having contracted the virus.
Preliminary tests on all had come up positive for H5N1.
