Following a series of security lapses with both the Capitol Police and the Secret Service this year — including the recent landing of a Gyrocopter on Capitol grounds — Speaker Boehner says federal law enforcement agencies are doing their best at adapting to a new threat.

"There’s been a lot of police that do good work for us and we face a different society and different threats than we used to," Boehner said.

"The coordination that goes on is very well done."

While Boehner said he's not proposing a reorganization yet, he did recognize the changing state of security in the nation's capital and across the world.

"When you look at what ISIS is doing and others, that’s a much more dangerous world than when I grew up," he added.
