2. Germanwings Victims’ Families Balk at Compensation Offer
The families of passengers killed when a jet was deliberately crashed in the French Alps are "appalled" by a compensation offer made by Germanwings and parent company Lufthansa, according to their lawyers. The offer: 25,000 euros ($27,700) per victim and an additional 10,000 euros ($11,110) payment to each close relative. Read more in NEWS.

The numbers that identify every computer, smartphone and device connected to the Internet dried up overnight Wednesday. But it's all going to be OK. Work has been underway for years on what's called IPv6 — longer addresses that allow for more combination possibilities. Read more in TECH.
4. Washington Woman Is First U.S. Measles Death in 12 Years
A woman who died of measles in rural northwestern Washington is the first known person to die of the virus in a dozen years. The woman didn't present normal measles symptoms, like a rash, so the infection wasn't discovered until an autopsy after her death. Read more in HEALTH.
5. U.S. Agencies Revert to Paper Forms After Hacks
America's intelligence and human resource offices have started using pen and paper for security clearances documents after two huge data breaches last month. The Office of Personnel Management's online portal for applicants will be down for more than a month for "security enhancements." Read more in NEWS.
6. Greek Financial Crisis Affects Its Traveling Citizens
A Greek newlywed couple's dream vacation in the U.S. turned into a nightmare: Their credit and debit cards were suddenly declined as banks closed in their native country amid a financial crisis. 7. Gunman Shot Dead by Ex-CNN Reporter Was Parolee
Tomorio Walton, the 27-year-old man shot and killed by former CNN reporter Chuck de Caro in a "shootout," was a parole absconder from Memphis. Police said Walton accosted de Caro's wife, CNN and Headline News anchor Lynne Russell, before starting to shoot at de Caro, and de Caro fired back with his wife's legally owned gun. 8. Nightly Spotlight: ‘María’ Retires From 'Sesame Street'
Sonia Manzano, who plays the beloved María on "Sesame Street," will be retiring from the show after 44 years. News of her departure was met with well-wishes and some sadness on social media.
