2. Clinton Slams Bush on Planned Parenthood Defunding
Democratic candidate nominee Hillary Clinton blasted former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush on Tuesday, calling his comments about defunding Planned Parenthood "unequivocally wrong." 3. World’s Greatest Freediver Feared Dead
Natalia Molchanova, the woman billed as the world's greatest freediver, is missing and presumed dead after failing to resurface from a dive off the coast of Spain. Molchanova holds 41 world records and is a 23-time world champion in freediving. Read more in NEWS.
4. Two Special Ops Airmen Killed During Training
A two-time recipient of the Bronze Star and a father of five were killed during military free-fall training in Florida, the Air Force announced late Tuesday. Both were Special Tactics Airmen, a force made up of specially-trained air traffic controllers, pararescuemen and military weathermen and forecasters. Read more in NEWS.
5. Cecil Was 'Murdered,' Says Zimbabwe Safari Operator
An unexpected voice has joined the chorus of condemnation outraged over the killing of Cecil the lion: the Safari Operators Association of Zimbabwe, which oversees hunting in Zimbabwe. The professional guide who helped an American dentist kill Cecil last month appeared in court Wednesday to answer to illegal poaching charges. Read more in NEWS.
6. Hundreds Sickened by Cilantro-Linked Infection
More than 380 people in 26 states have been diagnosed with a stomach illness tied to Mexican cilantro contaminated by human waste, federal agencies said Tuesday. It's the fourth consecutive summer in which the intestinal infection cyclosporiasis has been reported in the U.S. Read more in HEALTH.
7. Kelly Osbourne Apologizes for Comment on Latinos
Osbourne backtracked Tuesday after trying to respond to Donald Trump's controversial comments on immigration. "If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?" she said while guest hosting "The View."
