On Tuesday, Colombian reggaetonero J Balvin, performed 'Ginza' on the TODAY show as part of it's VIVA Today coverage celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

Savannah Guthrie told J Balvin that her new favorite word was "reggaeton." The 30-year-old performer explained that reggaeton is like "Spanish rap," and it is the Latin urban movement. Other known reggaeton stars are Daddy Yankee, Nicky Jam, Farruko and J Alvarez.

'Ginza,' has been topping Billboard charts and currently is number one on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs, Latin Pop Songs and Latin Airplay. The music video for 'Ginza' stands at number three overall "Most Watched Videos," outpacing Taylor Swift and The Weeknd.

J Balvin is currently on his first headlining U.S. Tour "La Familia," with a special guest, Becky G.
