On Rockefeller Plaza for the NBC Upfront, actress and singer Jennifer Lopez tells TODAY's Dylan Dreyer that "it's pretty intense" on the second season of her police drama "Shades of Blue": "Dark times for me," she said.
She says she likes playing her role in the show. "It feels really gritty to me," she said.
She also talks about her new single, "Ain't Your Mama," and its video and her co-star on "Blue," Ray Liotta, comparing working with him to a tennis match.
How can she be doing so many different projects all the time and so well?
"I love what I do and I always have," Lopez said, while wrapped in a coat she said she shouldn't be wearing in May.
