Rep. Joaquín Castro, D-Texas, is a dad – again.
Castro announced Tuesday that his wife had given birth to their son Roman Victor Castro Tuesday afternoon. The congressman's office said his newborn son weighed 7½ pounds and measured 20¼ inches.
This is Castro's second child. He also has a daughter, Andrea.
Castro is the twin brother of Housing Secretary and potential vice presidential candidate Julián Castro, who also hailed the event on social media.
