It’s another special delivery for global pop star Shakira and her partner, Barcelona soccer star Gerard Pique - as well as another chance to raise funds for children around the world.
The Colombian superstar is using Facebook to commemorate her baby joy and host a second UNICEF World Baby Shower. The couple's 2013 World Baby Shower celebrated their first child, Milan, and was hugely successful. Fans and supporters donated millions of UNICEF sponsored items, including 3.8 tons of therapeutic food and 80,000 polio vaccines.
Shakira also posted new portraits of her and her growing family with a video saying, “We wanted to give something to other parents and babies around the world, who live in conditions of extreme poverty and vulnerability but whose lives can be improved greatly by small contributions from others.”
