You may have seen one of the how-to beauty and fashion videos on YouTube that made her a household name. Global style icon Bethany Mota has a fan base around the world. Yet the 19-year-old daughter of a Mexican mom and Portugese dad has also turned her personal experiences as a victim of bullying into a crusade to help other young people.
Mota, who was named one of Time's most influential teens, spoke to NBC's Hallie Jackson on being a multicultural role model as part of this week's Viva Today series.
