Burning Man festival ends with blazes of glory

"The Man" is consumed by flames during the the Burning Man festival in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada on Saturday night, Aug. 31. The federal government issued a permit for 68,000 people from all over the world to gather at the sold out festival to spend a week in the remote desert cut off from much of the outside world to experience art, music in a communal, free-spirited environment. There were more large bonfires on Sunday night and the festival concluded on Labor Day.
