The largest free-flying American flag in the world was unfurled over New York's George Washington Bridge on Monday.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says the flag, which is hanging from the upper arch of the bridge's New Jersey tower, is meant to honor working men and women across the country on Labor Day. The flag is 90 feet long by 60 feet wide, with stripes measuring about five feet wide and stars about four feet in diameter.
