This undated photo provided by the Dearborn, Mich., police shows Brenna Machus. Machus' body was found three days after Joseph Orlando, was found shot to death inside the Family Dollar store where they worked in Dearborn, Mich.
The body of a 20-year-old woman, who went missing on Monday from a discount store in a suburb of Detroit, was found Thursday morning, according to police.
Police in Dearborn, Mich., had been searching for Brenna Machus since Tuesday morning, when employees opening the Family Dollar store where she worked found coworker Joseph Orlando, 20, had been shot and killed, said to Dearborn Lieutenant Donald Wilcox.
Machus’ body was found by a citizen in a wooded area close to the store on Thursday morning, said Wilcox.
The Dearborn Police Department released video surveillance of the suspect in the two killings on Tuesday.
The man in the video wearing a hooded sweatshirt on the night Machus went missing is still at large, cops said.
Machus' mother, Lisa Machus, called her daughter a “shining star” and asked for anyone with information to come forward, according to the Associated Press.
