<p>Police identified the doctor killed and one of the women injured in a shooting inside a Nevada medical office Tuesday, but the gunman's identity was not released.</p> <p>The Reno Police Department said in a news conference on Wednesday that Dr. Charles Garo Gholdoian, 46, was shot and killed in the Center for Advanced Medicine at the Renown Medical Center in Reno <a href="http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/12/18/21943679-surreal-witness-describes-reno-medical-center-shooting-that-leaves-two-dead-two-wounded?lite" target="_blank">on Tuesday</a>. </p> <p>Shawntae Spears, 20, was identified as one of two women shot and injured during the incident; the other female victim, a doctor, has requested that her name not be released.</p> <p>The gunman used a 12-gauge shotgun, firing several rounds at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday before shooting and killing himself during the attack, police said. Police believe they have identified the shooter and his identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. </p> <p>Deputy Chief Tom Robinson said the attack did not appear to be a random event, but the shooter’s motives were still under investigation.</p> <p>Police added that they have interviewed 29 witnesses so far and were scheduled to meet with more. There were approximately 100 people at the center when the shooting occurred</p>
