This afternoon at 2:00pm/et, "Meet the Press" kicks off its first #TweetThePress Twitter interview between David Gregory and New York Times photojournalist Tyler Hicks, who was nearby Nairobi's Westgate Mall last Saturday when gunmen opened fire.
A witness to one of the worst terrorist attacks in Kenya’s history that left at least 67 people dead, Hicks was able to go inside the mall as the attack unfolded. He will share his story with David today on Twitter and also take questions from users using the hashtag #TweetThePress.
