Residents of the Spanish town of Catoira recreated a Viking invasion during a traditional festival on Sunday. The festival's main ceremony is the dramatization of the Viking landing and the defense of the Torres del Oeste (West Torres) area, a historic event that happened ten centuries ago. The festival is celebrated annually on the first Sunday in August.
