Runners Cover 101K in Under 24 Hours in Grueling Spanish Race

About 7,000 runners, mountain bikers and duathletes, ran a course of 101 kilometers in less than 24 hours through the Ronda and Cadiz Mountain Ranges, in a competition organized by the 4th Regiment "Alejandro Farnesio" of the Spanish Legion. Juan Manuel Cortes, 44, won the race with a time of 9 hours, 58 minutes, 40 seconds.
