New Jersey police are probing the deaths of a 10-year-old girl and her 62-year-old foster mother, both of whom were found killed in their apartment Friday night.
The deaths of the girl, Veronica Roach, and her foster mother, Joan Colbert, were ruled homicides, police said Sunday.
The two were found in their first-floor apartment on Lippincott Avenue in Long Branch.
Police didn't release information on how the two were killed.
