Army General Killed in Afghanistan Laid to Rest at Arlington Cemetery

Burial services were held Thursday at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia for Army Maj. Gen. Harold Greene.

A U.S. general who was killed last week in Afghanistan was buried Thursday at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

Army Maj. Gen. Harold Greene was shot and killed on Aug. 5 at a training center in Kabul when a gunman opened fire. He was the highest ranking U.S. Army officer killed in combat since the Vietnam War.
