American Airlines passengers suffered a rough arrival after a bus slammed into their plane at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Friday night.

The bus struck Flight 232 as it waited at a gate shortly after landing in Atlanta, Georgia, from Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, according to American Airlines spokesperson Liz Landau.

Passenger Mike Dodson told NBC News the collision significantly damaged the aircraft’s wing. “The plane moved a lot,” Dodson said. “Everyone was freaking out.”

The flight crew swiftly evacuated passengers telling them "obviously we have a problem, we need everyone to quickly deplane," passenger Jim Carlough said.

There were no reported injuries and the plane’s return flight to Dallas was canceled, Landau said.
