A Colorado man was arrested Thursday for the murder of a woman in Chicago more than 20 years ago.
David Ramirez-Martinez, 45, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of a 39-year-old woman in Chicago on May 14, 1994.
The victim was found stabbed to death inside her residence in the 3900 block of North Ashland Avenue two decades ago. Area North cold case detectives linked Ramirez-Martinez to the murder through DNA testing.
Ramirez-Martinez was arrested in Boulder, Colo., where he had been living.
