Florida Man Turns Self in for Stealing TV — in 1989

A 60-year-old Florida man returned to Connecticut on Saturday to turn himself for stealing a color TV — 27 years ago.

After his admission, Randy Iannacone, of Port St. Lucie, was booked on third-degree larceny charges, according to the Norwalk, Conn., police.

Was released with no bail and a promise to appear in court on April 19.

According to police the theft took place the Norwalk Jewish Center, which has since closed, on April 26, 1989.

The Norwalk police issued a warrant for Iannacone but were unable to locate him, and the warrant was not served until Iannacone's arrival at the police station Saturday morning.
