A Pittsburgh man had a "Furious 7" experience on Sunday, clinging to the hood of an SUV as it roared through seven Western Pennsylvania towns, police said.

Dwayne Harvard, 46, had an argument with Steve Sutton Sunday night and struck Sutton with his 2002 Ford Explorer, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Harvard took off and zipped through Harmar Township, Springdale Township, Frazier Township, East Deer Township, Tarentum Borough, Fawn Township and into Harrison Township.

Sutton was still on the hood of the SUV when troopers stopped it after an eight mile run.

Sutton’s girlfriend, Anna Mazzetti, told NBC affiliate WPXI that Sutton instigated the argument, confronting Harvard in her driveway after Harvard drove her home.

She said Sutton threatened Harvard and then leaped onto the hood of the Explorer as Harvard tried to get away.

"And we did try to stop the vehicle. He got completely violent like he was going to kill us both. Nobody in their right mind would stop the vehicle..." Mazzetti told the station.

Harvard was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and DUI, according to police.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazzette reported that Harvard was being held on $5,000 bail and is due in court May 4.
