ANNAPOLIS, Md.— Authorities say a Maryland man who acknowledged setting fire to a home in a jealous rage and returning to take selfies has been sentenced to 55 years in prison.
Prosecutors announced Tuesday that 26-year-old Justin Clum of Pasadena was sentenced Friday. He pleaded guilty in February to 25 counts including attempted first- and second-degree murder, arson and assault.
Prosecutors say Clum poured gasoline on the front porch of a Glen Burnie home and set it on fire after learning of his girlfriend's past relationship with a man who lived there. Authorities say the intended victim wasn't home, but three other people escaped the flames that destroyed the home. It took 23 firefighters an hour to put out the fire.

Prosecutors say Clum later returned to take photos of the ruins.
